Roxy Luther, I am sorry to hear of the loss of your husband. It has been years since Metzger Elementary; how time flies. I am so very sorry for the loss of such a lovely man. Thinking of you.

I met Ron Masters through his wife, Roxy. He had such a kind and gentle spirit with a clear love and appreciation for nature and the beauty it provides all is us. His way of looking at the world with such kind heart and soul is one to emulate and such a good reminder for me. Thank you, Ron. Rest In peace.

We will miss Ron big time. Next door neighbors in Bend. Ron was a kind and gentle soul. We shared enthusiasm for gardens and nature. I was struck by how observant Ron was, especially with birds, wildlife, trees, and the natural landscape. When I landed my first job as an elementary counselor in Reynolds School District in 1978, Ron was the only other elementary counselor in the district. I was quite wet behind the ears, and Ron took me under his wing, as a mentor and sounding board. I was and am grateful. May he rest in peace. My condolences to his loved ones.
