Ronald Clyde Maurer

Ron has been gone only a couple of months, but over half a century of wonderful memories with him will last a long time. Ron was a peaceful influence and an inspiration throughout everything he did – being with his family, being a leader in the building of the Elmira-Corning Astronomical Observatory, meticulously turning hunks of rock into beautifully polished jewelry gems, or just being Ron.

So sorry to hear of Ron’s passing. Sending fond memories, love and prayers for your family. Fred admired and respected Ron very much when he worked with him at DR. I remember well his humor and patience when we visited Michelle during the school years. Sending regards to your family, Gisele, Michelle, Claire, Mark, Jessica, Logan and Lexi.
