We just found this on line when we were looking up Ron to see where he was. How sorry we were to read this. Ron was our realtor for many years and helped us make important decisions. We always looked to him as our voice of reason.
Over the many years we knew him, one thing we always knew was how much he loved his wife and family. May you always be comforted by the many memories you shared together. God bless Ron and his wonderful family.

Dad, it has been 3 months already. I am still in disbelief and it is hard for me to understand. I know most people don't talk about how proud they are of their parents, but I feel compelled to tell everyone how much you made of your life and the life you made for all of us. You taught us so much, and I am grateful to have had someone with so much experience and wisdom. I wish we could have had more time to soak up everything. Straight-forward, deliberate, gun-slinger who is beyond one of a...

I just learned of Ron's passing. I knew Ron from going to the auto auctions. He took me under his wing and showed me what to do and what NOT to do, along with his quibs and really funny stories. One night he asked me, "hey Bob, go out there and look over this lincon i just bought for my son, tell me is its any good". We had this conection, you were a good friend Ron and I'll miss you. Thank you for being my friend. God Speed.

Ron McKay was like a father to me in many regards. Commensurate to a relationship like that, my life with Ron was filled with firsts.
When I was about 19 I was in the market for a new car. Ron had offered to help me get a good deal on one and I accepted. Our first trip was to the Ford dealership where I showed him the latest Saleen Mustang. While he was impressed with the car he insisted that I reconsider. This was due to the fact that he felt the car would depreciate too...

My deepest sympathies to you Irene and your entire family. Although I've known you many many years, I'm sorry that I never had the opportunity to know Ron as well. However from what time John and I did get to meet him and know him, he was a kind, lovely and humorous (oh so humorous) man and John enjoyed their conversation about motorcycles, cars and the good ole days as we all did over our burgers. We looked forward to going out for that nice motorcycle ride and I'm sorry we won't have that...
