Not sure what to say?

God bless you uncle Ron, you'll be missed.

Same year that I visited Ron in Porto, and after a ride with the TRAZERS in Yellowstone.

In 1966, Ron and I were learning Portuguese in the LTM (now MTC). We were in the same district. In his inimitable, personal approach to life, Ron wanted each of us to have nicknames--in Portuguese, of course, to help us learn. He took one look at me and decided that I was "Bear." So he looked up bear in our tiny dictionary and found "TRAZER," which is the verb "to bear," (not the animal--"URSO.") We did have fun learning Portuguese. --Christopher "Kit" Lund

May the Lord bless you with an abundance of peace & comfort during this time of loss. I am eternally grateful for the plan of salvation - to know that we will see this wonderful man again because of that plan & our Savior's sacrifice. God be with you until you are together again. I love you Marilynn. Darlene

Uncle Ron - fly free with the angels. You will be missed. Much love to you Aunt Marilyn and family. There are many memories, but I will always remember the time Mike went to visit you guys in Portugal and couldn't believe the skinny jeans that all were wearing because that was definitely not the in-thing at the time. Such fond memories he and Russ had. We love you all and pray that you will be comforted during this time. Much Love.

Marilyn: We were sorry to hear of the passing of Ron. We have fond memories of the two of you in our Ward in South Jordan. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

Our condolences and love to the Meeks family. How grateful we are for the long association with Brother Meeks in the Draper Temple. He was a meek and loving man whose inner strengths and virtues blessed each of his fellow workers.
