Ron was a good friend who taught me much about patience and resolve. He always packed the lightest pack but was never unprepared. Kind and gentle and always of good humor he was truly a good man. We will miss him greatly.

It was with shock and sadness that I learned of Ron's passing.
He was a good friend from our days together as Scouts.
He will be missed greatly.
