Not sure what to say?

There are so many stories I could tell about Ron.
We meet each other while grad students with the same advisor. The advisor flew to a conference to Colorado but rented a station way for his students to drive from Illinois to Colorado. Outside the conference we students traveled into the mountains. We tried to buy ice cream at a store but were told we could only buy sodas because the health dept had closed down the store for food except for canned goods because of health violations. ...

I just found out about Ron's passing today. It's hard to absorb. He was a gem of a human being: intelligent, fun loving, generous of spirit. He will be missed and remembered fondly by many. Kathy you and your kids are in my thoughts.

It was really sad to hear this news. I had just reconnected with him on Facebook. I graduated from Mehlville High School with him in '67. I remember he was always just such a nice guy and friendly to everyone. My sympathies to his family.

I'm very sorry to hear about Ron's passing. I've known him from college when we were both working on our post-bachelors' degrees together at Urbana-Champaign. I remember my wife and I listening to comedy records at his apartment with Cathy. Our best couple friends. They visited us in Columbus and we visited them in NJ. My condolences to Cathy and family.

This weekend I was looking at a scrapbook and saw Ron in some pictures from parties during eighth grade and high school, so I was surprised this morning to read of his passing. While we haven't been in contact recently, I remember him fondly as a very nice, intelligent guy of good character with a great sense of humor. We had some great times in school. My condolences to his family.

I knew Ron for many years as a fellow member of the
Unitarian-Universalist Church in Summit. I was truly shocked and saddened by the news of his passing. He was truly one of the most extraordinary people I've ever known. He had a profound effect on me and, I'm sure everyone with whom he had contact over the course of his life, especially the UU youth who benefitted from his involvement in the various youth education activities in which he took part of the years.
I offer my...

Each member of the Lubell family--Dan, Eugenia, Sasha and Nick--remembers Ron as a wise, fun, loveable guy, always so present and full of compassion and life -- a truly noble human being. We are profoundly saddened by his sudden passing and extend our deepest sympathies to Cathy, Dave and the rest of his family.

Ron was everything that a friend should be. He will be missed. Our love to Cathy, Dave, Ellen, Gina and Rick and all of the other extended clan....
