Not sure what to say?

Dear Marty, David, Bobby and the rest of Ronnie's extended family. We can't begin to tell you how much Ronnie meant in our lives. We first met as neighbors in l979 when our son's played together and Ronnie was still out at Warner Robins. He and Bill seemed to hit it right off with their love of old cars, etc. Ronnie taught Bill a lot about cutting timber and Bill taught Ronnie some things about cars he didn't already know. We never knew him to be without some kind of project besides his music...

My Other Mother, I was so sorry to hear of your loss. I didn't know Ronnie but I'm sure for anybody to love you like I know he did, he couldn't have been half bad (just look at how I turned out) HA! HA! It was so good to see you the other night even if it was under such sad circumstances. He was the most wonderful man to live, and I will truly miss my grandfather.

Love Always,
Stephen

I knew two Ronnies: the Ronnie before the stroke and the Ronnie after the stroke. I prefer to think about him as two different people who inhabited the same body in different ways.
