Not sure what to say?

I too was a security guard for Base Fort Patrol in the 1970s. I remember Ron as a very nice man. My condolences.

I was very saddened to hear of Rons passing. I worked for Ron in early 70s as a security officer then went on to a 40 year career in law enforcement. Many of the things I learned from Ron served me well over the years. I have always had huge respect and admiration for Ron. He was a man of integrity and honour and will be missed. Rest well dear friend.

It is truly sad to have lost both Ron & Dora. I worked with them as a security officer for APS for close to 3yrs. Dora & Ron were a star couple and loved each other as well as their careers deeply. They were commited to not only each other, but to their officers and their mission to provide quality service to their clients! I will never forgot the experiences I had with APS as well as Dora & Ron. They gave me a chance to try something new and my experiences with them paved my way into a...

I'm very sorry to hear of the loss of Mr. Minion. I've got fond memories when I was 15-16 or so especially living on the acreage at Priddis
Dad (Gary Nadeau) had some good times with Ron and I know he had allot of repect for him both as a boss with Basefort and as a friend.
My thoughts and Prayers are with his Family.
Norm Nadeau

I worked for Ron in 1983, but thankfully spoke to him via email a year ago. I knew him as a man with a precious heart. I am so sorry to hear of your loss, Chad, Jeff, Dennis, and family, as well as of Dora.

My condolences to the Minion family. I new Ron through being a
member of ASIS Alberta chapter. It is my understanding Ron was a driving force behind the success of this chapter. Although we have not had any contact for some time now, Ron Minion is not a person you forget soon. I have always held him in the highest regard and am saddened by this unhappy news.

I was tremendously saddened to hear of Ron's death. Like many, I had known Ron for many years, within the context of the security industry. Ron's energy, passion and sense of adventure will be greatly missed. Ron was a builder, not just of security companies, but of people as well. To all of Ron's family, may there be brighter days ahead.

My Condolences to the Minion Family...I never got to meet Ron...but spoke to him on the phone a few years back while trying to contact those that knew my Dad Buddy Thompson...Ron was an honorary Pallbearer at his funeral...and I am told was a very close friend to Dad while he was alive...Would have loved to have met and talked more to Ron...He is at rest and probably joined up with Dad now...I never knew my Dad till he was gone for 8 yrs...but i am told he was a dear friend...God Bless his...

I worked for Mr. Minion for many years starting back when he had Base Fort Patrol. I worked off and on for Mr. Minion until I was at the Curry Barracks army base when he had Academy Protection Services. I am so very sorry to hear of his and Doras passing.
