Not sure what to say?

Ronnie: How do you say good bye to someone that you thought would live the "good life" forever; celebrating life to the fullest? You were the one in the family that stepped out in style; wearing your casual ivy-legue suits to high school; leaving home to attend college in "West-by-god-Virginia; leaving again to the city that became your home and your true love; but never leaving your family nor your friends. I've read and heard so many personal stories - and we each have our own to share...

Ronnie,
I’ve procrastinated in saying goodbye because it means that we’ll never enjoy your company again. We didn’t see you often but when we did we always came away with good memories. Only the week before we heard of your death Dale had mentioned your name when he heard of a particular case he thought you’d really enjoy. Thanks for the legal advice when needed (along with the ex-brother in law rate). But thanks more for the consideration you showed to Mom throughout the years and for...

Ronnie Monroe you were an older brother that went of to college while I was still in high school in Virginia. You settled in New Orleans and made it your home. You loved the city and all that it was. You worked hard to make the city of New Orleans better and for those that live there. AS I reached manhood Ronnie, you became my freind. I learned that you had made many freinds throughout your short life. It will be so hard not to think of the New orleans JAZZ FEST, good delta blues, and the...

Ronnie was a friend of many years and a keeper of the memories. I hate it so to part with him.

I love you Ronnie & will miss you every day for the rest of my life.
Not only were you my Godfather, but you were a really great friend to me & my family. New Orleans will NEVER be the same without you.
Thanks for a lifetime of memories buddy.

Diann and I only spent a short time with Ronnie in New Orleans where I was reunited with him thru his coincidental close relationship with our mutual friend, bill long. Ronnie and I grew up in the same area of springfield virginia and went to the same elementary school. Fate brought us together many years later and he was such a gracious and interesting host around New Orleans, which he obviously loved. We are so sorry to hear of his passing and will remember him with fondness. Jim and...

When ever I came to town and saw Ronnie again I was happier. He was a great force of positive fun energy. I will miss him.

I was privileged to have known you, Ronnie Monroe. You were a true New Orleans character … always Smiling … always Charming. Your passing is a loss to a City that truly needs your Spirit. I’ll miss you.

Farewell Ronnie, and with our condolences and deepest sympathy to your family and many friends.
