Dear Cheryl,
I am so sorry the I lost touch with you and Ron near the end. I,too have been going through some things myself, but I never stopped praying for my sweet Ron. I have been with you both in pray the whole way, just not physically. I loved Ron with all my heart and I know he knew that. He was not just a gentleman , but a gentle man and so dear with that never give up smile and twinkle in his eyes. He will be long remembered and always the Ambassador of Petersburg.

Cheryl,
Even though I did not know Ron that well, I could always count on him for a smile and a kind word. His presence will be missed by many. May your memories and love for Ron bring you comfort in the days ahead.

Ron fought the good fight as hard and with the courage of one who knows the true meaning of faith and putting your life in God's hands. His journey and all who have heard it know it is a true testament to his life with us; we will miss him. There is one other person that fought as hard and that would be his wife -Cheryl. I thank his cousin Julie for introducing me to this pair so many years ago I can't remember. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

What a beautiful obituary. I will always remember Ron's smile, his happy spirit, the flowers that he placed around the tech center, all the emails, and his lovely photos. I can only guess he is sitting up on a cloud in heaven telling stories and greeting the new arrivals. Ron will truly be missed.
