He was a fine classmate and a great athlete. He could outrun anybody! Our class just had a 60th reunion. he would have loved it!

Brashear High School , Cross country , City champs 1977-1982 , because of Mr. Nance , end of story .

Ronnie was a fabulous athlete at Wilmington High School. He was extremely humble and nice to everyone. He was quick on his feet and could outrun anyone. From college, onto a Masters, and then becoming a teacher, coach and pastor, he did it all with great admiration from those who knew him. You were a WHS Star!!!

Hey Pastor, I'm sitting here not sad any more, just thankful that you helped me through so much coming up, I looked up to you not only as my pastor but as a mentor and how a man is suppose to act. We all had special moments with you, but I think the last moment with you was special to me. Pastor Nance was more than a Pastor, he was a father, friend,mentor, and like a Dad to me . Anytime I needed him he was always there to listen, to give me advice and words of wisdom, I hold such a special place in my heart for you Pastor , I am glad that I got to say I love you as often as I could. I miss you so much!
