Mr. Onorato was my English teacher years ago at Sullins College in Virginia. But "teacher" does not hit the mark in describing his service to students. He shaped lives. Ron was a dear friend and neighbor of ours. Carl and will miss him. He had a dry sense of humor. If you didn´t pay attention to what he was saying you miss the humor and the entire point of his comment. He and I had many conversations that will forever be in my memory. Jo Ann and Carl Spofford
