Not sure what to say?

I first met Ron at a Western Junior/Southern Junior High basketball game. 1946!!! Needless to say Southern won due to Ron´s outstanding play. Over the many, many years since then I was fortunate to have kept in touch and met many times. I count his wonderful wife Pat, as a friend as well. Had a great chat with Ron Junior when he visited WRKO radio back in the 80´s. Ron sr was as athletic legend, of course. But, he wa s also a terrific father and coach, and, a caring and honorable man. His...

Ron Perry had a tremendously positive influence on me during my early years as a Director of Athletics, for which I have always been deeply grateful. He was an exemplar of consistent and compassionate professionalism. He was grounded in principle, committed to serving the best interests of the students at Holy Cross, and always thoughtful and respectful. I admired his faith, his love of his family, his humility and his love for and loyalty to Holy Cross. On behalf of the Lehigh community,...

Playing baseball and basketball for coach Perry was an extremely positive experience. His ability to understand issues both on and off the court and to provide support and advice I can´t say enough about. I was also very fortunate to have met with him for occasional lunches years after graduation. May God bless him and his family. Don Larsen "CM64"

Sad to learn that we lost our colleague, and dear friend, Ron. We were fellow AD´s in the MAAC during my years at La Salle, and close friends. My prayers and best wishes to his beautiful family.

To The Perry Family: My utmost and heartfelt condolences on the passing of your father. His personal athletic achievements while attending Holy Cross are quite epic and above reproach. And his tenure as Athletic Director are also memorable. During my time there he was always very approachable and easy to talk to about all things Holy Cross. And you are all a testament to the tremendous job that he and your late mother did raising you. He is and will be missed on College Hill! RIP Ron.
