I am deeply saddened to know my friend is no longer with us. I reached out today to call him and when his number was disconnected my heart sank. It is so like him not to even tell me he was sick. My heart goes out to all Ron's family and the many people who were touched by his friendship. I met Ron over 40 years ago and I can truly say he was the best friend I have ever known. I am so sad to hear that Ron has gone to be with the Lord.

Although I haven't seen him in years, every time we talked on the phone, he would always start the conversation out the exact same way. He would call me by my middle name and I would say, "Yes Ronelle?". Then he would laugh. What a great laugh he had, and he was always laughing.

In the forty or more years I knew him, I don't think I ever saw him mad. He will definitely be missed.
