There are many times I think of Ron, who passed away to young. We shared many Vietnam Veteran of America Chapter 415 talks. Ron was very active in the Color Guard etc, etc. Whenever we had some function going on Ron was there. In the past year I lost 4 Vietnam Veteran brothers. One being Ron, Cliff Terese, Bill Standing, John Ensley. This Agent Orange has taken a lot of my brothers and continues to take their lives. Your face remains in my memories and will not fade away. I am deeply sorry for the loss of Ronald. May God's loving kindness bring peace and comfort during this sad and difficult time. Psalms 29:11

To Barb and family, Andrea and I are sorry for the loss of Ron. He was a great guy and loyal member of VVA 415. Also Ron was a 1st Air Cav member and I served with the Cav for 4 months in Nam. We bonded together telling our stories. I did not know that Ron's cancer came back and he fought the battle. As brothers of Vietnam, will never forget. Together then and together always.

Rest In Peace dear Cousin. You fought a long hard battle and you did so with dignity. My husband Jeff also served in vietNam, and paid the price. I hope he was there to meet you with a salute and a "welcome home brother" You both served your country with honor, and I am so proud of both of you. You will live on in the hearts of all who knew you, The pain and suffering is gone, Fly with the angels Ron!!

I remember being in the VVA and making trips to the wall, one t clearly remember we were standing in front of the Lincoln Memorial at the reflecting pond steps and Ron had his cav hat on and an older officer with a black trench coat on and a cav hat on like Ron's we recognized him when he came over to shake Ron's hand it was Colonel More he was the officer in charge of 1st Cav unit in Vietnam, he was iportrayed in the Mel Gibson movie, We Were Solider's. So sorry for your lost may Ron RIP. ...

Our sincere sympathy to Ron's family. Ron and I were both members of VVA Chapter 415. I will remember him as a kind soul with an easy smile.
