TRAVERSE CITY — Ronald Gene Pickle "Ron", 52, of Mesick passed away tragically on Aug. 11, 2008, at Munson Medical Center.
Ron was born at home on June 22, 1956, in Sweet Home, Ore., to R.L. and Ursula Pickle.
On Aug. 8, 1979, Ron entered into marriage with the former Laura "Sue" Decker after they met during their service in the United States Army.
From a young age Ron had a passion for music. He was able to sit and play the piano but his true love was for the guitar and for southern rock music. Ron expressed his talent without ever learning to read music but playing by ear.
