Not sure what to say?

To Ron Poff's family, Ron was a friend and colleague at PHHS when I taught AF JROTC there in the 90's. He was a pleasant, caring, and genuine person, and the entire community will feel his loss. Your family is in our prayers.

I am so sorry for your loss. Mr Poff was an amazing teacher and those are few and far between. I remember back in 2000 when I first met mr. poff through a friend in his class and he would always let me hangout in his class, help him grade papers, or he helped me in my english classes. Even though I wasnt one of his students, he would always treat me like one. I would always try and come by an see him when i came back to visit PH...if I could catch him! He is one of the reasons why that I...

I am so sorry to hear of Woody's passing. I have so many fond memories of him and all our adult sports days with softball and basketball. He brought a smile to everyone he came around. Also, you can tell by all his posts from students, what a popular teacher he was with the lasting impressions he made as well with the younger generation. I hope all of this will keep you in comfort knowing he was so well loved and respected. My prayers are with his family.

My thoughts and prayers go out to you and your family. Mr. Poff was one of my favorite teachers in school. He always had that smile on his face. I haven't seen him in years but just remembering the good ole day makes it all worth while, knowing that smile will last forever in everyone he knew! God Bless you all!

To the Poff family,
I had the pleasure of knowing Ronnie since the 1st grade at the old South Salem High School as well as lots of times during his "grown up" years of he and my husband playing softball, usually against each other. My prayers go out to you all.

Mr. Poff was a good man. I attended ph where he taught. I may not have had him as a teacher but my heart goes out to his family and friends.
