Not sure what to say?

Remembering your Mom and Dad---think about them often---and miss them very much.

I certainly do miss you Ron! You were the Grand Patriarch of the family & you held the ties together. You were a great man & you had a brilliant mind! You always treated the world around you peacefully & kindly. I loved every minute I spent w/ you. The day you passed was a day the world was minus One WONDERFUL soul. :( May you REST in peace & enjoy the 2nd part of your journey!

I was sorry to hear about Ron. When I went to Muskegon Public Schools in 1992 Ron was the Human Resources Executive Director and we worked together for many years. We also served on the Board of Education at Grand Haven, he for many, many years. Ron was a terrific administrator and highly regarded by all segments of the staff, whether as part of a union or not. Thanks, everyone, for remembering our Dad.

Ron was a devoted nephew to my mother, his aunt, Dorothy Prefontaine. He was always a kind and loving cousin. So hard growing up in different states and visits so few. Only in these last few years were we able to catch up and share. I regret not getting a chance to say goodbye in person as he would have liked. I will miss our talks and the family connection. Linda and Dick my love to you.

Dear Mike, Mark, Steve, Lisa and Lynn,

You have my deepest sympathy. Chris and I had a very nice visit with your Dad a few weeks ago---he was a very interesting man and will be greatly missed by many people, including me and my family.

Love,
Aunt Lorraine

Lynne, Steve, Mark and especially my old friend Mike - So sorry to learn of your Father's passing. Bittersweet memories of being with all of you in Grand Haven - from the ball-fields to the golf courses to sitting around with your Mom and Dad at home. They were both very special people and still mean a lot to me today. Godspeed, Dr. PreFontaine - Jack Shelburne

Saddened to read of Ron's passing. Great memories of his family in Grand Haven. Love to all.

Marking the passing of a WONDERFUL boss, colleague and friend - Ron always had the best interests of our "special" students and staff at Muskegon Public. Knowing he is on the other side of eternity with Donna is great comfort. Blessings to all the Prefontaine Family, Sabina and Tom Streng family
