Not sure what to say?

I remember Ron well from my seminary days in Baltimore at St Mary's. A man of compassion and excitement for ministry and the poor. He will be missed.

Father Ron, you will be sorely missed by all. I will always remember your laugh and smiling face and your dedication to your faith. You have walked many paths in life but now you walk the ultimate path with Our Lord. Thank you for bringing Divine Mercy to those of us who knew nothing about it and showing us through your strong belief and trust in Jesus's Mercy that we too may receive His Mercy if we believe and trust in Him. May St. Faustina and the Heavenly Choirs of Angels meet you at the...

My thoughts and prayers go out to the Pytel Family. Fr Ron was so good to me and my family. I will never forget his thoughtfulness and all the special things he did for us. It truly meant a lot. We are truly losing a good friend. May he rest in peace.

Father Pytel will be greatly missed by his many friends of Maryland Catholic Daughters of the Americas. We have prayed for him during his difficult battle.

With Unity and Charity

Though I left Baltimore many years ago, I always felt I was back "at home" at Holy Rosary, a parish guided and restored so lovingly and ably by Baltimore Polonia's native son, Fr. Ron. His love and leadership will be missed by so many. Wieczne odpoczywanie racz mu dac, Panie!

I went to Father Pytel once for counsel, and the memory of that meeting will be forever with me. May he rest in peace.

Although, you will be missed by the parish and community, your deeds will not be forgotten or overlooked.

IN YOUR TIME OF GRIEF LET ME TELL YOU WHAT I THINK OF. I THINK OF RON AT JESSICA'S WEDDING. I THINK OF HIM LAUGHING AT LINDA'S CORNY JOKES SHE HEARD AT WORK. I SEE HIM IN THE PICTURES OF ROME. I SEE HE AND MIKE GROWING CLOSER IN LOOKS AND IN EXPRESSIONS THROUGH THE YEARS. I SEE THE LOVE OF A BROTHER TO BROTHER AND A BROTHER TO SISTER-IN-LAW, THE LIKES OF WHICH YOU SELDOM SEE. RON'S LOVE FOR YOU IS BECAUSE YOU WERE THE SOFTNESS AND THE SECURITY IN HIS LIFE, SECOND ONLY TO GOD. HE IS REALLY AND...

May the Secretary of Divine Mercy, St. Faustina, meet you at the gates of heaven.
