I was stunned and deeply sorry to hear of Ron's passing. We were especially close in the 1990s when we played golf together frequently. We were also co-combatants weathering the ups and downs of playing in Broadway pits. Ron was a person of opinions and he was willing to share them whenever and I loved him for that.
