Ron was a pillar to his family and the community. We marveled at his wisdom and energy for life. We are so grateful that our friendship with Kim gifted us with Ron's friendship, kindness, and generosity of spirit. Sending our love and condolences to the entire family including his furry grandson, Sid. Love always, Barb and Anne

I admired Ron as a Stanford Law classmate and, after reading the obituary, renew that admiration of him for his public service and life after Stanford. I also share his affection for Japanese culture, especially its ceramics. The Ron I remember was the height of integrity. My condolences.

Oh Lee, what a beautiful elegant tribute to Ron. What an amazing man. His caring accomplishments did so much for our society. I only knew him a short while, but he made a marvelous impression on me. I miss you and hope to see you one day. Denny.

The firm Rankin, Walsh, Ragen and Roberts hired me in 1974 as their (first woman) law clerk and in 1976 as their first woman associate. It was a completely comfortable association, and looking back, I appreciate their willingness to hire me and the way I was treated.
