Not sure what to say?

Unreal how much you can be influenced by one person but Mr Rayla was certainly that person for so many of us back in the 1950s & 1960s - many many fond memories

Ron was my football and baseball coach in his first year at PHS in 1957-1958. His calm manner was a major influence in my family life. I enjoyed seeing him and Kay whenever I was visiting friends in Parma. Many times I'd ask myself--what would Coach Ralya do or think about something? He always occupied a special place in my mind/memories.

Ron & Deb, Condolences on your loss. Julie remembers him more than I do but what an incredible influence on the Parma Western school district. David & Julie(Konkol) Chesley Vero Beach, Florida

Andrea, so sorry for the loss of your Dad. all.

So sorry for your lose.

Mr. Rayla had the great pleasure of telling the middle school females they could now wear pants to school. Hurry!!!! Up till then we had to wear dresses.

Mr, Ralya was one of my favorite teachers at Western. (1960-64) and one of the reasons I majored in History. My friend Lorelei and I sat in the front row and compete to answer questions. He called Lory "the siren of the Rhine". He always had a giveaway question on tests - like "who is buried in Grant's tomb." Good humor, yet demanding. He was a great teacher.

So sorry to hear about the death of my coach Mr Raul´s - to have been inspired by him before a football game was an honor and an experience I have never forgotten- I sure was influenced by him throughout my own teaching career and in my coaching career- a real loss to all of us

Our condolences to the whole Ralya family.
