Our SDC Chaplain, Fr. Vince O'Brien, SJ (RIP), used to tell us that we were the Lord's presence to each other. Well, for those of us who really knew Ron, we could see he really understood and tried to live by those words. May God bless your grief as richly as all of us He blessed through Ron!

My deepest condolences to the Rand Family. May you find peace at this sad time. Ron was very knowledgeable and conscientious about the FAA mission. Our technical training operations requirements were demanding, Ron was a true asset to this need. Rest in peace Ron.

Ron and I worked together at the FAA for a number of years. He was a pleasure to work with and was always a calming presence. I especially enjoyed the many times when we traveled together for work. Ron was always fun to be with and I miss the many great conversations we had over a beer in the evenings. Ron was a very caring, generous and kind person who will be missed by all who knew him.
