Ronald Carson Rasmussen

Mr Rasmussen was one of the few teachers who seem to understand me. He offered a kindness and a connection that I needed. Im an artist, much different than others, but he saw this as a plus for me. In his class, during an evaluation of prospect for my future, my path was inspired into the right direction. RIP sir, I am a success because of you, no one does anything alone. Thank you for helping me, inspiring me, helping me think different and thank you for making sure I knew a creative path...

Mr, Rasmussen was one of my favorite teachers at Colusa High in the 1970s. In Social Studies he clearly made a special effort to understand my creative and artistic spirit.
I was inspired by this and it gave me the confidence I utilize today, in New York City, running my studio. He was kind, thoughtful and always a gentleman. Mr R, thank you.
