Ron was a very close friend when we were in high school and the 1st year at UCLA. He was the most intelligent person I ever knew, but did not flaunt it to anyone.
He was kind, had a subtle sense of humor and felt good to be in his presence. I will miss him greatly and sorry that he had to endure such a miserable disease.
