I remember once over lunch at Bethel, he described how sometimes when he did math on the chalkboard in front of the class, in order to do the math more quickly he would round off all the numbers. But sometimes he was afraid he was rounding off more in one direction than the other so he would add a + or a - next to the number so he could keep track of which way he was rounding.
