Not sure what to say?

Ron was a good friend, fellow hunter and fisherman, helpful carpenter and all around good guy for the years I lived in Broken Bow (1975-1984). We were fellow teachers there. I just today thought I'd Google his name to see if I could find out what he was up to. I am sad to see that he passed away. I talk about him quite frequently and the good times we had. I remember the laughs we had when he helped me butcher a beef at his parents' home, and we struggled with 800 pounds, just the two of us!...

Good person, teacher and friend to all in the community. If you needed something he'd tell ya "just come and get it." If you tried to pay him for using it, he wouldn't hear of it. Unless you insisted then it was "just bring me a Budweiser." He never quit teaching. I called him last fall to ask him some Construction cost questions. He dropped whatever he was doing and educated me again just like he did in 8th Grade. He will be missed.

Ron was a good friend of mine. We went hunting and fishing together many times. We also worked together on many projects. His and mine. It was because of Ron's help on a construction project that I was working on that I got to go to Canada goose hunting for the first time. If I ever needed any tools or equipment that I didn't have Ron would always loan them to me. I will always remember the good times we had together. My son when he was young always called him Ronnie Joe, so I'll end by...

Ron was one of the most honest, hardworking individuals I've ever met. All his help was greatly appreciated. Best wishes to his entire family. Ron will be missed.

Ron will truly be missed. Thoughts and prayers to the family

Ron was a great man. Always calm and level headed. He would always take time to chat and give advice if you asked. He will be missed.

Rons warm smile and kind spirit will be remembered. A great man gone too soon. Our deepest sympathy to the entire Ripp family.

Sorry for your loss. Prayers for the family.

Prayers for you Janelle...Ill remember Ron for his ambitious ways and hearty laugh. Loved him. Aunt Betty
