Not sure what to say?

Ron was a wonderful person and a great father to his children. I enjoyed knowing him for many years and have always respected his accomplishments.
My deepest sympathy to his family.

Ronnie will be missed by everyone whose life he touched, including all of us in the Messick Class of 1962. He was truly one of the good guys.

At our First Thursday dinner this month at Pete And Sam's, several of us were discussing the "smartest" students at Messick High School. Several brilliant people were at the dinner and several names were mentioned. When I said, "Ronnie Rogers" everyone at the table totally agreed. The world has lost a valuable resource who will long be rememered. Ronnie never had an unkind word to say about anyone, and he always would help anyone in any way he could. We all loved Ronnie Rogers.

MY TRUE FRIEND IN HIGH SCHOOL . GLAD HE DID SO WELL IN THIS LIFE. A VERY SMART AND NICE MAN.

His passing is a great loss. He was always such a nice person.

My thoughts and prayers are with Ronnie's wife and family. From his house on Spotswood, to Davis Park, to our 12 years at Messick, Ronnie was a good friend. I have always respected and admired him.

Ronnie and I were always arch-rivals in spelling bee competitions. I beat him in the fifth, he beat me in the 6th. He was always a worthy opponent. Always smiling, no matter who won. A good guy, to put it in a nutshell. God bless your family, and I'm sorry I didn't get to have lunch with Ronnie, as we had talked about doing...one day. I live 25 minutes from Fairhope in Mobile. Please do not leave any intention undone, as we never know what and when it will occur. Whenever I see the word,...

Thinking of you Catherine. So sorry for your loss.

I always looked up to Ronnie.
