Sorry for your loss as Ron was obviously a strong Christian man, and relative or friend to many people. I really like the comment that " he never met a stranger". My wife and I meet and saw Ron one time as Reagan chose Ron to be his Best Man for his marriage to our daughter, Melissa. Now I know why. My husband and I lived next door to the Rushing´s lake house for 7 years and enjoyed every minute we spent with Ron and Marla. Ron was such a special person who never met a stranger and we know he will be greatly missed. Our thoughts and prayers are with Marla and all those who loved him.
