Ron was also an avid gardener and great supporter of the new Hazel Heights p-patch community garden across the street from the home he shared with Ken. For instance he helped start all our tomatoes for the giving garden to support the food bank--he left a packet of tomato seeds behind, printed entirely in Russian of course!
