A Golfer, a Gentleman, and a Friend.

When ever I think of Ron Salinas, a thousand thoughts cross my mind, from the time when I was 5 years old living next door to the Salinas family, seeing this little red haired boy running and enjoying fun with all neighboring children including myself.

I just found out about Ron's passing just the other day as I was living out of state, Ron was one of my best friends at P.I.E Trucklines, and I had several chances to golf with him, even though I wasn't that good he always gave me encouragement. Love ya Bro!!!

Ronny wasted a draft pick on me in Pony League Baseball at Sherwood Park. He taught more than the fundamentals; he taught me courage, self respect and the desire to achieve. I use what he taught me through my years. I’ll miss him dearly.

I am so sorry to hear about my friend Ron..Janay and Ron were such dear friends to me when my Paul past away. I never went to Utah without having dinner with them and Ron would always put a smile on my face. He had such great memories to share with me about him and Paul in high school. All my love and thought go to Janay and the family. May Ron's memory give you strength...He will always bring a smile to my face when I think of him and those crazy Xmas cards he sent to Paul. God Bless.

Damn Ron was a good guy, he even boxed at Madison Square Garden in Golden Gloves competition.

I am so saddened to hear about Ronnie He was one of my best friends in life I cant beleive how time gets away Ill try to call you Janay Love Bob Giles

My condolences to JaNay and all of Ronnie’s family. Ronnie never met a stranger, was a friend to all, and made everyone feel special. I trust he and Bobby are in heaven, up to their old tricks, and making the angels laugh.
I hope the many happy memories everyone has of him will warm their hearts and bring comfort.

My condolences to Ronnie's family. they lived next door to my grandmother when we were children. I always remember what a nice family they were. I was lucky to see him again at some of the get togethers we had with our neighborhood friends the last few years. he is in heaven with his parents and brother.
