RIP Ron

RIP Ron

Ron was my first boss when I joined 3M. He was a smart, patient teacher, and trusted me with bigger projects early on than I expected. In later years as more of a colleague he routinely had a unique view of how to approach problems in a very studied manner. I had no idea he was ill. So sorry for his family and friends...too young and to be sorely missed.

We're so sad to hear of Ron's passing. He was a great friend, mentor and boss. He made work fun whether in Guin, AL, Menomonie, WI, or St. Paul, MN. We've lost a good man. Galynn, Joe, and Jennifer, our deepest sympathy to you. May Ron's infectious smile, sense of humor, and caring nature live through you. He will be missed.

I was impressed with his Dads hot dog electrocution cooking device and the lovely family in St. Louis. Our...
