Not sure what to say?

I am so sore to just learn about Ron’s passing in 2023 I first met Ron when he did my wedding in 1955. Later I worked for Ron for over 20 years at Hinsdale Flower Shop for over 20 years as his bookkeeper and part time designer. Our friendship remained over the years and I frequently called he and Nona at Windsor to see how they were and just to say hello. He was a great person and will be missed

Grove of 100 Trees

What a wonderful, gracious and charming man to have worked with and for at the Hinsdale Flower Shoppe! He was a very artistic and fantastic designer working not only in the flower field but with cultural/artistic inspiration. It was one of my most interesting and eclectic endeavors in my working career.....having worked as one of his part-time employees at the very infamous and spectacular "Hinsdale Flower Shoppe"!! What a wonderful treat during my working years to have known Ron and his...

I got aquatinted with Ron not long after I started doing Nonas hair. But that wasn’t actually the first time we had met. Back in 1994, we had met at his flower shop in Hinsdale when I ordered flowers for my wedding. I didn’t realize it until Nona told me that was Ron’s shop. Such a kind man and always up for pleasant conversation. Every Christmas, I got one of his Boxwood Christmas trees. You will be missed by many Ron. Condolences to the Schlamann family. And my wedding flowers were amazing!

We are thankful to God for Ron and Nona, such sincere, gracious, loving and faithful Christians. A sweet memory we have of Ron was his generosity in bringing floral arrangements to Windsor Park. Often his flowers were seen in the auditorium where worship services were held. Ron had a wonderful smile which reflected his joyful spirit. He was so kind. I never heard Ron complain about anything. Instead, he was quick to give words of blessing and encouragement. God's peace to the family.

Hugs and love. May the Lord comfort you & family with His presence & promises as your mourn & remember your Dad’s life & legacy.

We want to send warmest condolences to the Schlamanns. We loved Ron and enjoyed every time we bumped into him at various estate sales. He will be greatly missed but joyfully remembered.

Offering our deepest condolences during this difficult time.
