Last Thursday, April 10, 2014, I lost a brother who was very dear to me, but most importantly, I lost a special friend. I guess the Good Lord needed him to come "Home" after his long journey here on this earth.

Ron, you took me in to live with you and, also, your special wife, my sister-in-law, Nancy, after our mom and dad passed away. What a wondrous gift that was granted to me. I will always love and thank you so very much for that "gift".

I will not say goodbye to you,...

As I sit here and remember the most influential man in my life it is hard to think that his person is gone from this earth, his memory and the love I feel will never be gone from my heart. My Uncle Ronnie, my godfather, filled my world with such love I am glad I do not have to have to say goodbye but rather...see you later. I will see you in glory when our Lord says it is time. Until then, I will hear your voice tell me "You got that right kiddo" amongst many other of his favorite sayings. I...
