Dear Irene: I was with profound sorrow that Lavon and I learned of Ron's death yesterday by email. He was an inspiration for me for all the 16 years we worked on the de la Bahia dock crew together. Although a bit cranky at times, we loved his inspiration and many of his rich stories of his life's journey. I missed him this last season when I thought of him many times and will miss him in the future. Lavon and I offer our sincere condolences to you and you family in these trying times. ...

Irene, Bette and I are deeply saddened to hear of your loss. You and the family are in our thoughts and prayers.
