I met Dr. Simonton when we worked together at the old St. Catherine's in Kenosha. I was in nursing school and working as a phlebotomist. I had to go the ER many times to draw blood and was able to see your husband doing what he loved most - caring for patients. He always had a smile on his face even at the craziest moments. I was so sad to hear of Ron's passing. I had the pleasure of working with him at the old St Catherines in Kenosha.We were all so blessed to have known him. He was "one of a kind." My thoughts and prayers go out to Cheryl and "his girls."

after so many years the fond memories of Ron and you still make me smile.
I remember the Kenosha days, the emergencies,the fundraisers you two helped make a succeses,Sam's house on the lake...
most of all the respect I had for the terrific colleague I was blessed to know you and Him . I am so sorry for our loss but remember :

Cheryl, How fast the years go. I have thought abought all of you many times over the years. When checking where you are, I was very saddened to see that Ron had passed away. He was so loved and will be so missed. We had many great times in the Old St Catherines ER. My love and prayers are with all of you.
