Not sure what to say?

So sorry to think about how we have missed Ron. He always thought positively and that affected the whole Vets Club. Time races by.

I always liked Ron's infectious smile. Even though he was uncomfortable getting around, he never quit participating in Vet activities. When I first met him in Peoria at a Bradley get together, I remembered his BIG dog. The dog would wave his tail and knock lamps over. When the dog did some digging in the front yard, it looked like a new sewer line was being put in. Rest in peace Ron. No more struggling to get up and down from chairs.

Ron was President of the Bradley Vets Club when I entered Bradley University in the fall of 1964 and I succeed him a couple of years later. His leadership and personality were major factors in establishing the atmosphere for this organization to provide a fraternal organization for military veterans to make the transition to collegiate life. He and Anne were the center of many or our activities. It was great to see them both years later at some of our reunions.

First met Ron in 1967 at Bradley University in Peoria, IL at the summer tryouts for the football team. Coach Billy Stone obviously did not appreciate us older vets and promptly cut us in the first wave.
We shared many good times with the Vets Club during our Bradley days and many years later at our Vets Club reunions where even though Ron had difficulty walking he still was able to get on the golf course with us. All of us are now are approaching 80 and hold those fond memories of each...

Condolences to Anne and Ron's family. I did not know Ron at Bradley but came to know him through the reunions. Had great times at those reunions and sorry to lose another Brave and Air Force Vet.
