Read MoreSo sorry for your loss of this great man. I was one of the many students that was greatly moved by Mr. Singer, back in the 1970's. My favorite memory was hanging out with him on our spring break trips to Bahamas in 1973 and Jamaica in 1974. He will be greatly missed by all the past students that he touched the lives of. So, so sorry

I spent years 1-20 of my life in Hillside, IL. The Singers lived just next door to us. Mr. Singer (not sure I'm old enough yet to call him Ron) was a guiding light and mentor to me. We shared a lot of memories with the Singers and we were all very close. Mr. Singer was always friendly and always had a joke to make you laugh when ever I saw him. He also taught me US History in High School. He will be sorely missed by all and I send love and support to the whole Singer Family. R.I.P. ! -Mark
