Survived by wife, Margaret Squires; children, Stephen Squires of Carver, Peter (Natilee) Squires of Apple Valley, Julie (Kurt) Kiddoo of Edina, Beth (Paul Sperling) Squires of St. Louis Park, Joe Squires of Crystal, Jon (Amy) Squires of Southlake, TX; grandchildren, Allison, Nichole, Katie, Jessie, Libby, Emma, Max, Jackie, Ben, Mike and Tommy; brothers, Donald (Vicky) Squires of Vista, CA, Artie (Janice) Squires of Castro Valley, CA. Preceded in death by parents, Clifford and Jessie Squires. Visitation Tues, 4-7PM at Ballard-Sunder Funeral Home, 4565 Pleasant St SE, Prior Lake and 1 hour prior to service at church. My deep sympathies to you Margaret and your family. I have known Ron and you for 47 years. I worked with Ron at Control Data many years, he was a good friend and (with his Bronx sense of humor) is one of a kind. He enjoyed life, and with his many medical problems was a fighter who never gave up hope. Phyllis had once said that, "he was a walking miracle".
