Not sure what to say?

Dolly and family, my sincere condolences. I have fond memories during the late 50's when Charline and I loved being with both of you, getting us away from the convent. Ron did the best Mister Magoo imitation, that kept us laughing forever! He was filled with talent, compassion and humor....one of a kind.

Ron was a dear friend, a mentor, and played an instrumental role in my passion for art and painting. It's because of Ron that I sold my first few pieces! Always partaking in his annual Christmas shows at Gallery East....I will forever cherish our friendship and his role in my success as an artist.
Sending my condolences to Dolly and family.

We were so saddened to hear of Grandpa Ron Stokes passing. Such a wonderful man that we had wished we had known better. We share your sadness. What a wonderful tribute to begin an art scholarship fund in Ron's name. He will be greatly missed. Prayers to you all in this time of healing.

I am so sorry to have heard of Ron's passing.. My thoughts are with the family.
I was able to see Ron last summer while I was back in Wisconsin.Had a nice conversation.

Dolly and family, I'm so sorry for the loss of your beloved Ron. The obituary was wonderfully evocative and captured his impish spirit perfectly. I've been so happy to have known Ron for over 40 years and, like all his friends, have so many Ron stories to tell. Remember the terrible weather on our trip to Ireland? I was wearing a front-facing fanny pack under my sweatshirt and raincoat. Ron came up to me, squeezed the fanny pack and pronounced "It's a boy!" Whenever Ron's name is mentioned it...

Dolly and family, so sorry for your loss. Ron was a great guy and was my sponsor at the Yacht Club.
Sorry I can't make the wake. In Hawaii for the winter.
Your friend, Larry Bergner

Dolly & Family,
My deepest sympathy in the loss of Ron. I loved the stories of your relationship with Ron along with His wonderful, dry, wit. An enjoyable couple which will be sadly missed.

God Bless,

Inez
