Travis: Sorry to hear about Ron. I didn't know him well but everyone spoke highly of him. My mother said her friend (your aunt), Helen Buck always had nice things to say about him.

Ronnie was friend and mentor for me at Roanoke College, a good and wise person who really cared, and the world is a lesser place becasue he is gone.

Dear Travis and Odette,

Bobbie and I just learned of Ron's death. He was a good and gentle man, and we have many good memories of his -- and your -- many kindnesses to us.

I am sorry we have lost contact with y'all, but please know that we share your grief at this sad time.
