Not sure what to say?

I am proud to call Ron Sumner a valued friend for many years while working together for the National M.S.Society. Ron was a caring professional who made a difference. I offer my sincere sympathy to the entire Sumner family.

I KNEW RON AND MARGIE AT WOOD VILLAGE. I KNOW HES GLAD TO BE WITH MARGIE AGAIN. HE DID NOT HAVE TO WAIT LONG TO JOIN HER AND THEIR SAVIOUR. SORRY FOR THEIR FAMILIES LOSS.

Smiles for everyone, Ron was a friend to all. I enjoyed working with him through Willamette Valley Development Officers for he always shared good advice and a helping hand. My thought to his family. Sincerely, wendy

I came to know Ron through his involvement with Volunteers of America. Through the years I was privileged to know Ron and Margie and found them to be caring and gracious people who made the world a better place. They will be missed on earth but are once again together in Heaven.

Although Ron had a serious side and was very passionate about many issues, I remember him fondly as a jokester and prankster in my many interactions with him at WVBC. Ron was the consummate volunteer and especially adept at recruiting others to get involved--he was a practical, "get it done" kind of guy. RIP Ron, you've earned it. You and Russ C. will enjoy endless heavenly jokes and stories.

Served with Ron on the finance committee at WVBC. Enjoyed his skill and professionalism, humor and dedication. The Sumners were both enjoyed by the greater WVBC family as we worshipped together, fellowshipped together, raised our families together, and served together. Ron will be missed.

Many great memories of Ron while at Woodvillage Baptist Church. He had a heart for serving others, and a great sense of humor. He will be missed and remembered.

My condolences to Ron's family. I had the opportunity to work with Ron as a neighborhood volunteer. He was a great leader and will be missed.

I was privileged to serve as a fund raising colleague of Aron's. Once we were finalists for the same position (VOA)! He has been on my mind of late. Bless his heart, and my condolences to all.
