I was deeply saddened to learn of Ron's death via the internet. I remember him so well - particularly as a member of the church choir. May God grant you love and peace as you continue sharing His love with your beautiful smile and joyful demeanor.

Dear Ms Joyce,
It was a pleasure and an honor taking care of your husband, he always had jokes to make me laugh when I came for his visits. I will never forget the first time we met and I said "so your a retired Marine?" and he said "Is there any other branch?" lol He always gave me crap about being in Navy all in good fun. He has truly touched my heart and I will miss him, but I will never forget him.

I believe the Marines from the past are the fighting force in the Marines...

It is of deepest regards that my wife and I extend our sympathies to you, Joyce and your, Son Ron Jr. We regret that we were unable to attend the celebration of his entry into heaven and is now in his presence.

I'll always remember Ron's funny faces when I brought my camera out! lol He was such a treat!

Know that Ron is taking pictures of all of us because there are holes in the floor of Heaven... and he's there, without any pain.

When I think of Pop Trim, I can remember a quiet man, always giving me a smile and having a kind heart. I will miss him greatly. I am thankful for my younger days spent with the family that treated me as their own. Always giving me a place to park my bike. You all hold a place in my life and always will. My sympathy and prayers are with you.

Joyce and family, Sam and I are in California visiting family and are so sorry to read of Ron's passing. I have many memories of Ron in choir and of other times at New River.
