UTICA, Ronald J. - Of Swartz Creek, age 45, was taken away from us unexpectedly on Wednesday, August 3, 2011 at Genesys Regional Medical Center. Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, August 8, 2011 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Reverend Don Neuville officiating. Burial in Evergreen Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Catholic Outreach. Visitation 4-8 p.m. Saturday, and 1-4 p.m. Sunday, and 10 a.m. Monday until the time of the service at the funeral home. Ron was born in Flint, Michigan on October 19, 1965, the son of Ronald, Sr. and Suzanne (Goodman) Utica. He married Karen Forsmark on May 8, 1993. Ron was loved by his friends and family. His laughter and good humor will be missed. Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Karen; sons, Robert and Christian (Chip); father, Ron Sr.; brothers, Bill (Diana) of Clio and Alan of Davison; nephews, Adam, Zach and Taylor and his cherished kitty, Marbs. Ron was preceded in death by his mother, Suzanne. The family would like to thank their many friends and family for their support. A special thanks to Adam Finney. Karen and boys I just found out today 9/12 that Ron is gone. I am so sorry. I am back in Grand Blanc. I can't hardly believe it. My prayers are with you and Robert and Chip.
