The passing of a great guy is a great loss for the community and the R/C community. Ron was a great guy. His dedication to R/C is unsurpassed. Thanks for having known you.

I CAME TO America in 2004 and was soon introduced to the Eglin club by the late Ed Bradley, and Ron very quickly took me under his wing as a friend I had been out of the aeromaodeling world for some time and he helped me to get bqck into flying again, he was a real friend and confidant. Since being here in this great country I have made 2 good friends Ron and Ed. I loved you both and will remember you both to the end of my days

He was an unbelievable friend and mentor to me. Our stay in Northwest Florida didn't last long and after 4 years we moved back home to West Tennessee. While our time in Florida was over, my friendship with Ron was not. We kept in touch on Facebook and email. I'd see him every year in Perry Georgia at the worlds largest r/c swap meet. He...
