I attended Frostburg from 1963-1967 and played basketball for four years and also earned my undergraduate degree in Health & Physical Education. Dr. Ron Van Ryswyk was the best teacher in the Department. He taught me how to listen and learn and I was able to earn my Master's and Doctorate degree from the University of Maryland. In 1970 I returned with my wife Judy and coached and taught at Frostburg for 32 years. I owe a lot to Coach Van Ryswyk. He was the most brilliant person I have ever...
