Altavista………Ronald Holland Vuncannon, age 54 of Altavista died Sunday, November 28, 2021 at his residence.    


Born July 26, 1967 in Danville, he was a son of Adison Watson Vuncannon and wife, Margie of Hurt and Shirley Power Vuncannon of Altavista.  He was predeceased by a brother, Adison “Bunky” Vuncannon.  Ronald enjoyed working on cars.      


In addition to his parents, he is survived by four step-sisters, Robin Scruggs and husband, Leon of Hurt, Rita Bumgarner and husband, Jerry of Huddleston, Cindy Hancock and husband, Eddie of Altavista, and Denise Moore and husband, Mitch of Georgia; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and close friends.


Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, December 1, 2021 at Colbert-Moran Chapel by Rev. Ed Soto.  Burial will follow in Carl O. Moran Memorial Garden.


The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 10 to 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, December 1, 2021 at Colbert-Moran Funeral Home and other times will be at the residence.
