Not sure what to say?

Oh Ron, I'm so sorry we did not have that last planned lunch together. You were a kind, generous and interesting friend and I'll miss you.

This arrived with the flurry of snow in today's mail and seemed to speak of Ron. "I live my life in widening circles that reach out across the world. I may not complete this last one but I give myself to it." -Rainer Maria Rilke, poet and novelist (1875-1926)

Ron's kindness and dedication touched our lives through jazz society and will be missed.

Ron,
Don't know if you actually showed up at the pub on the 16th or not but I looked for you. Don't think you were there. I'll keep looking for you on a Monday, but now when you don't show up we'll know why--though you'll be with us nevertheless. So long, old friend.
Bill

Thanks for all the good times we had at the beach and rafting

Ron's sense of fun was always balanced with a sense of personal responsibility to contribute what he could to make the world a better place. I'll always remember the laughter, music and good cooking at the Manzanita house. Ron was a gentleman and very sweet. I have many happy memories of our time as friends.

So many fond memories of Ron, his great personality, that wonderful smile and signature laugh.

What a great party giver and an accomplished cook. The first time I tasted perfectly steamed fresh asparagus was at his house on Patton Road (many years ago).

I can still see his huge blue and white enamel steamer filled with fresh corn on the cob and steamer clams ready for a backyard feast.

River rafting was also always an adventure with Ron. Especially around the campfire,...

Ron was kind, I miss him.

Was very surprised about your unexpected passing as we just saw each other recently.

You and I go back a long way to our days together in High School and will always remember the Jazz show we did together on KBPS. We certainly shared a lot of music together as well as other good times.

Rest in peace my friend.

Ron, a kind and gentle friend. You were loved then...and, you are loved now. Happy Trails to You.
