Ron was 5 years older than I but very quickly when I became his neighbor 7 years ago I discovered a brother and a mentor. He listened carefully, he could be impatient but never cross, he shared himself with great respect, he loved picking up our trash and suffered for his friends who lived on his route on the street and in the our nearby Holladay Park.

This is how we'll remember Ron, relaxed, smiling and enjoying himself. One of the most open, giving, engaging, caring, gentle and intelligent people we will ever meet. We are better for his friendship, which is how all friendships should be. In looking for the attached photo, I discovered a note of ours from over 15 years ago. Always enjoyed Ron,s programs when he showed wonderful tavel pictures and described his travels. He was a great HPP friend and will be sorely missed. Mary Jane Hall

Always enjoyed my time with Ron. Great client and friend over 20+ years. Lovely sense of humor and spark. A joy to be with even when we agreed to disagree. Lunch at Stanford's was always a time we looked forward to. He lived his life his way and God's way.

My condolences to Ron's family. I knew Ron from Trinity. He was a lovely, friendly gentleman. I will miss hearing him read at Sunday services and listening to his travel experiences.

High School memories of a good friend!

Father Ron was an important influence in my young life as a chorister at St Michael´s. I can still hear him singing Stanfords Nunc Dimittis. I also enjoyed time spent at his house with other choir members learning how to cook. Most of all, I remember the glint in his eyes as he smiled and laughed. A wonderful man and mentor. God bless you - jeff harvey

Father Ron was an amazing man. When he came to St. Michaels he started the folk rock services where they would play guitar versions of uplifting songs of the day, some worship, some folk. It was very exciting. He was an engaging pastor and hip and cool. After my parents divorced I went to live with he and Jay Shisler the choir director because I needed some guidance in my life. They both were great mentors and good men who helped me grow and mature. I looked forward to the dinners at...
