Happy second anniversary in Heaven. Can't believe it's been two years since God ended your pain and took you home.

I've found myself giving Brendan much of the same advice you gave me as a child. I was truly fortunate to have you as my father. Took Brendan to his first drag race and car show a few weeks ago. He loved it. It was just the two of us--father and son. Reminded me of the times just the two of us did things together. God, how I miss that!

You always think that there's going to be more time to do the things you want to do or say but it's not true.

Father's Day was not the same without you, Dad. We all miss you so much. There are so many important things I now realize to being a good father. Thank you for all the great examples. Now I know why you always said you "wanted no bills" when we asked you what you wanted on any gift giving occasion. You just wanted to be with your family. That was the best gift of all.
